The Lower Loudoun Youth Football League (LLYFL) uses the sport of football as the vehicle, shall establish and maintain the environment necessary to perpetuate the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, reverence, self discipline and the respect for others, in the youth of the local communities.

The objective is to develop stronger, happier and well adjusted youth who will grow to be healthy, trustworthy and contributors to our society.

We regret to inform you that LLBFL Legend, Roger Houze, has passed away on November 25th. He coached here for​ 25 years​. ​He started as an assistant coach from 1986 to 1990 for the Wolverines, Rebels and Knights.


​In 1991, he became the head coach of the Rebels. He ​then moved up to the B League Cobras in 1994 & became the head coach and even went on to win 1 championship. In ​1999, he ​​became the head coach of the newly formed expansion team Patriots.​ In his second year as head coach of the Patriots, he went undefeated (13-0) and won the championship. He also won the championship the next year as well! He ​continued to coach the team for 1​2 more years, until 2011. 


​Many of the young men that played for Roger went on to play high school & college football.
